The Famous Neo Tango group OTROS AIRES came to Israel.
After 6 years of career, 2 studio albums, 1 live album, a documentary DVD and 16 tours around Europe, North America and South America (including more than 60 cities), Otros Aires releases it’s third studio album.
“Tricota” is definitely an acoustic hinge between porteño tradition and modernity. Recorded with the collaboration of the different ¨Orquestas Típicas¨, this album delves into the fundamental orchestral tango structures, sometimes to praise them and others to subvert them, deconstructing and reconstructing a genre that it’s in full steam since its origins, 130 years ago.
Embracing the extremes and going further into it’s retro avant-garde concept, Otros Aires takes a fundamental step in the development of the style, for the first time, a typical orchestra and an electronic one get together for a common project.
