On Tuesday, July 24, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver the keynote address at “Imagine the Unimaginable: A Symposium on Ending Genocide in the 21st Century” presented by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, in cooperation with the Council on Foreign Relations and CNN. The symposium will explore the challenges of preventing genocide in the 21st Century.

The ceremony, in memory of the AMIA bombing that killed 85 people, was held in the presence of Mr. Carlos Faustino Garcia, Argentinian ambassador to Israel, Mr. Gidi Mark, CEO of Taglit-Birthright Israel and young adults. Taglit –Birthright Israel commemorated, this morning (Wednesday 18/7), the AMIA bombing against the Jewish community that killed 85 people in Argentina in 1994. The memorial took place at Rabin Square, in the presence of Mr. Carlos Faustino Garcia, Argentinian ambassador to Israel, Mr. Gidi Mark, CEO of Taglit-Birthright Israel, together with 160 young adults – participants of the birthright delegation from Argentina and activists from the Argentinian Jewish community in Israel.
