Netanyahu: "There is concern in Israel and the Jewish world over a resurgence of anti-Semitism in Hungary. Such a dangerous phenomenon must be uprooted before it can spread"

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday morning (17 July 2012), in his Jerusalem office, met with Hungarian President Janos Ader. The two men discussed advancing bilateral relations, Iran's race to develop nuclear weapons, the unrest in the Middle East, ways to advance the negotiations with the Palestinians, and anti-Semitism.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said: "There is concern in Israel and the Jewish world over a resurgence of anti-Semitism in Hungary. Such a dangerous phenomenon must be uprooted before it can spread." Hungarian President Ader underscored his firm opposition to any manifestation of anti-Semitism.

At the end of the meeting, President Ader invited Prime Minister Netanyahu to visit Hungary.
